I would not recommend this method for the none tech gifted person.
It is hard to plastic gauge as I had to lay it on top of the crank.
On a hoist it would have been easier then having to do it on my back.
Due to me not having a over head crane and a engine stand it was my only choice at the time, and everything worked out, but it would have been much easier with the engine on a stand, but it always is.
Car is cleaned up now. Washed it yesterday inside and out.
still no fuel gauge operation, and some other electrical glitches.
The girl friend and I took it for a spin, got a Tims coffee and I was at the pumps putting gas in it when 2 guys had to stop and ask about it.
They asked if it was fast and told them about a 250kph rip that I did heading to work one day when their eyes got big. I turned around to see 2 RCMP officers smiling at me.
I was done so we went home but no doubt they recorded my plate #
