You can be a mechanic or technician...The choice is in HOW you fix it, not THAT you fix it.

Not yet...work has not allowed me much time to work on the car...still haven't accomplished much and out of everyone I know they're scared of breaking something if they help. I'm hoping to get to SIH today...maybe if I can get out of work
Thanks
Josh
Thanks

WE HAVE A WIN!!!!
I still need to provide pics, but it seems that every time I work on this car it's dark or I forget. I was frustrated with work and decided to take it out on the car. I made use of the crane on my work truck. Pulled the hood off and gave that SOB a big middle finger. New fly wheel is in. Now I just have to tighten the bell housing, reconnect the TT, install the lower BH with the starter, replace my fuel lines [finally]. I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel again...also of note it was a bittersweet victory, the neighbor had a tree company take down a rather large tree which ended up partially crushing the 79 and 86 US cars. Tree company's insurance is covering the loss thankfully, just glad it didn't take all 3.
Thanks for the support,
Josh

Everything is buttoned back together finally... changed the hard lines from the FD to the injectors, primed the fuel system and guess what... it started! Now back to tuning the cis system. I have the gauge set to check pressure, also rebuilt the WUR prior to the hiatus. Also the "knock" I heard was from the old flywheel...wished some of you were closer...hoping to get her on the road by the end of the week since it's finally off the jackstands. It will run if I barely have any pressure on the gas pedal but want to die if I try to give it anything. I'll have to research my old thread on the "other" site to refresh my memory...forgot quite a lot since the last time I turned a wrench on this beast
Thanks again for all the support and advice

Any pros or cons to attempting to replace the WUR with an FPR from an 80 euro S? I'm trying to do some diag without my CIS gauge...it's leaking and won't maintain pressure to be able to read it. To refresh it is on a 79 euro kjet
Thanks,
Josh
