No even with the jumper and I can hear the fuel pump running it will not start.  The only relay I have added is for the AC clutch power.  Rich checked the ECU and even put it in his car for a test drive, it checks good.  Just got it back today will put it in in the mourning and try testing something.  I guess I will test all three new relays just to be sure, then recheck for spark with starting fluid.  Kevin in Atlanta has sent me some materiel to look at and so has Rich.  I would love to get the car back on the road, even considering trying to make the South Coast meeting.  It would be a long haul but I would like to meet some of the other owners.

So I have ECU in and checked the fuel pump relay in the horn.  Also used this special relay jumper (see photo) and can hear the pump run still no start. All the grounds are good/cleaned so looked over the engine all connections look good.
Next?

Hi,
In this thread you suggest replacing the fuel pump, EZF and LH relays.  Do you know the part numbers for these relays and what position are they found on the main ciRcuit board?  I have a 84 if that matters.
thank you,
tim

DHS, What you do actually know is that the fuel rail has fuel and pressure, but apparently no fuel is passing through your injectors. Your 928 is an 84 US., correct?
Either place a jumper in lieu of or replace the Fuel injection relay XVI (which is a specific relay: 928.615.119.00 ) located fourth from the right on the top row of relays.
If you jumper that relay, I believe you will need a 3 prong relay: terminals 30 to 87 and 87a.
If you have a NOID light, you can test any relay to see if it is receiving a signal. Chances are that they are not receiving a signal.
Good Luck.

Tim,
Start relay is XIV (fifth from the right on the top row) - standard 53 relay
Fuel injection relay XVI (fourth from the right on the top row) 928-615-119-00 (specific relay only)
Fuel pump relay XVII (bottom row next to the double wide relay at the far right) 928-615-113-01 (specific relay only)

These are for an 84 US only. Euros (ROW) are slightly different
