We moved away from Mobile 1 when they reduced the level of ZZDP to stop it screwing up cats. Check every jug you buy to make sure it has the right level of ZZDP or move to RP or another good brand.
ZZDP is absolutely essential for our cars - do without it at your peril.

1200ppm is the consensus suggested requirement, correct? Mobil 1 15W-50 fits the mold if this is the agreed upon number IIRC.

I use ZRod 20w50 by Amsoil......meets the ZDDP requirement

For normal street use the concensus is above 1100 and for track use 1750.
For street use I recomend as a minimium 20W 50.

15w-50 probably makes more sense for me as I sometimes drive late in to the year. My 928 does see freezing temps every now and then. On the hottest day of the year, my oil pressure will never fall below 3 bar whether in Nashville traffic or not.
