An '89 S4 Auto followed me home the other day....

on my trailer

A local 928 owner decided after years of fighting a problem and watching the car decay that he had enough. We corresponded for a few months, before it became mine.

I connected a boost pack to it tonight and also had to connect jumper cables from my truck, but it did start, and run poorly...

Holy, not bad for a non runner.

BTW what's this I see in your sig that the stroker is for sale, what is it and how much? Not that I could afford it.

Stan.....will it spin enough to do a compression check?

If thats good then we can gestimate the rest with a intake, tbelt/wp/gears and all the WYAI projects

I also have a GT transmission I could sell.

Of course I would rather build it and race it, but I have too many other distractions so haven't moved forward.

Yes, and as I have a leakdown kit, I would be inclined to do that as well. Time is always the issue, so of course one would wonder why I bought the car.... I thought it too good of an opportunity to pass on.
