I need some advice on my sunroof. It will not open and it was working fine. The switch, motor and transmission all are working. It will start to open but only about 1/4 inch then I release the switch so as not to destroy anything else. I removed the motor and trans and they are working. I can pull the cable on the passenger side out about two foot but not all the way out of the roof. I have tried to manually move the sun roof back but no luck. How can I remove the sunroof with out moving it back to remove the screws? I believe the cable is broken. Thanks for any and all suggestions. The shop manuals were of no help. 87S4.
