I didn't like the one where you use the starter..... but there was one suggestion on using a strap removal tool (as used for oil filters) and another on using the 3 arm puller by grabbing the inside lip of a crank pulley. Of course they aren't 982 specific, but it looks like a variety of (just) possible solutions to consider, depending on what tools you have available.

Limited in the tools right now.

Me neither, but people do it all the time. I guess if one was really careful about it and had a helper on hand to watch the pulley closely, perhaps it would be alright since he is limited with his tool inventory.
