well, that monster looks bad there, but its pretty basic, it saved me about $75.00 for a new wire setup. and it works pretty well. when that breaks, then i'll get the whole new wire setup.

Lubricate the entire mechanism - cable, hood latch, etc. Lubricate the hinges while you are at it.
