The XZN (triple-square) fasteners sneak up on you. They are also on the door check fasteners, and on some of the camshaft fasteners, if I remember correctly. Well worth having a good set of the sockets in the tool box. Do some research, and get a good set. Amazon has them, so does Walmart on-line and eBay.

As a mechanic I have tried many brands and then you migrate up to a professional tool like Snap-on, but for torx bits and those like them the snap-on brand is to brittle and I broke many until the Mac tool guy handed me one after we went through every one in the shop. It took it out and many after.
so for those style of bolt heads I use a Mac tool. my 2 cents
