new belly pan

My 87 does not require emission testing due to the age of the car. I'm still working on my must do list . Rmb and high flow cats are on my nice to have list(at the top).

I believe that is where I am now too. Mass. changed to testing via OBDII interface, and since the 928 doesn't have one.... Of course I need to review their visual inspection requirements as well, as I really want to install an SC sooner rather than later too.

Ontario has some strange rules.In larger pop. areas,e-test are mandatory every 2 years along with a visual inspection. If any thing looks out of place you fail. In small pop. areas this does not apply. When we modify we keep the old parts to re-test. Governments can be a real pain!

Sounds like California. I think their emissions vary within the state. I do know there are those who r&r their SC units before/after inspections, but I don't see me doing that!

My feeling about the belly pan is that it is more of an inconvenience than anything. It's supposedly been proven that a 928 will run cooler with it than without out. If there is any truth to that theory then it sure isn't significant enough to be reflected on the gauge. Just my two cents.
