Have you put those 8" 47's on there???? Pretty sure those WILL NOT fit... My 8" 50's BARELY fit on the passenger side of some of my cars and my 8" 52's are better but still close (for some reason the asymmetry of the 928 effects passenger front more than anything else) and the 8" 55's and 59's that you see on some other Porsche wheels are the best fit of all (ie. CIII's).

Now, maybe (I hope) you just had a typo and they are actually 8" 57's...that size would work GREAT! Keep us posted!

I was going to say, that offset was quite tight.

Under the hood the engine is painted up and missing the distributors
and the only other planed visible change is the window switches to these.

Hey Mac, let me know when you do the switch upgrade, I want to do that too, but I would like to know how much is involved. I assume the console has to come out and right now I want to leave it alone. Maybe next year though.

thanks!

Really quite an easy upgrade for the later cars. It is a little more involved for the earlier (pre-89) cars, but it is still not bad. Console does NOT have to come out!
