Ya, if the plugs and wires don't change anything then recheck the dist caps, remove and lightly touch contacts with emery cloth including the rotor.

I would recheck the MAF connections and anything else electrical that you may have touched.
If you don't find anything then you have no choice but to go after the injectors

The new spark plugs or coil wires didnt cure the issue. I looked under the hood when it was pitch dark and theres quite a light show. we've found a big problem :)

Was in the big city for the last few days and met up w/Glen who has a spare set of wires, disti caps and rotors. I'll get them installed asap and see what happens.

Theres new parts enroute but this will give me a head start toward full diag.

the spare wires, caps and rotors are installed and the engine miss is completely gone.

Test drive still had the vibration at 3k rpm.....I'll install the new rubber we have and see what diff that makes.
