You can be a mechanic or technician...The choice is in HOW you fix it, not THAT you fix it.

I'm not trying to sell the parts, I was looking to buy them for my car. I was not trying to imply that I was going to sell anything. He just told me to shoot him an offer. I was originally just looking to rebuild my CIS distributor, and he pm'd me with just about everything for the fuel system. I figured if the price was right I would pick it all up and see what I could use for my car. I didn't know what it's worth either way (s or non-s) and he shot back with an "is 300 ok?" Although I don't know if that's Canadian or US $...either way I thought it may be reasonable for a good Fuel Dist. and injectors. Ultimately I was originally looking for the SS plate that goes into the fuel dist...my PO "rebuilt" it and did not put the metering hole for the WUR in the right spot.
Thanks for the help
Josh

Sorry for the misunderstand
If you aren't changing anything else, then Euro S parts might not be a good fit for you, unless you have a Euro S. So you should understand what you are dealing with.
Honestly I would think $300 might be high, as you will need to get the hairline crack fixed, and used fuel injectors should probably be cleaned and tuned.
A simple way to figure out whether it is a good deal, is to call one of the 928 vendors, explain the problem you are trying to solve, and see what they offer for solutions. You might find they have the right parts, and knowledge, to get you up and running properly more quickly. 928gt.com, 928intl.com, 928motorsports.com & 928srus.com (in alpha order) are all options to consider.
Used parts are a risk, and while I have bought many, and likely will again, sometimes the opportunity does not meet the need.

Would I need to use the intake runners, or would it be plausible to use the fuel dist. and injectors in my intake runners...I can do the testing and cleaning at home...I have the Bosch testing blocks. I was looking for options with this car...I don't know where I want to go with it yet, and I didn't know what differences are in the fuel dist. or if it would even work for my car. I may go to a S motor at some point in the near future, and this may give me some parts for that...but who knows.
At the very least I was looking at getting the fuel dist. if it will work with my car.
Again,
Thanks for the help,
Josh

I don't know what will fit, much of it depends on which parts are which. You need to start there, nobody can be sure until they know what you have.
I think you can get used parts from 928intl.com or 928srus.com for not too much, and they can help you assure that you will have the right parts.

I just received the pics of the components a little bit ago, the main part that I wanted was the CIS fuel dist.
Here's the PN: Bosch #0 438 100 027
I'm pretty sure that it's the same PN from the one that I have... I think that his car is a euro not a euro s based on what I've seen from the parts, his intake runners are us spec, so I'll leave those alone on my car, I was curious about the injectors though, are there any differences between the 2?
Out of the parts that he has I think that I only want the hard fuel lines, CIS fuel dist., cold start valve and base, and some other little parts that don't matter either way, I've been looking for a little banjo bolt for some time and there are a few extra coming with the parts. My PO decided to re-engineer the hard line going into the front of the upper intake by installing a regular bolt instead of the banjo that I would assume goes there. Any ideas of what is supposed to go there? 16v MY79 euro.
Thanks for the help guys, always appreciated.
