Engrish is not his first language

LOL, sure it's not.

Ouch.

No Ouch. What's so hard to understand about "I did not own a 928 since 2000".

Very curious to see where this goes... Betting no where...

- Really? You make wrong bets.

SERIOUSLY? Maybe the 928 is not the car for you

- I'm sure you know better which car is for me and which is not, but I'll give you a little tip: The body of a 928 sits visually incorrect on the suspension. There is room to make (remove the muscle car effect) the car look very cool by hiding that hole between the fender and the wheel.

Anyway, Brad thanks for the answers. I have an idea.

So Andy, you have owned a 928 before?

What year 928 did you own?

Do you have any pictures? We love pictures here.

Where are you located?

Andy, I STILL don't understand what this means?! Do you mean, "I have NEVER owned a 928"... You did not own a 928 since the year 2000, got that part... Since 928's have been around since 1977 and I have NO IDEA how old you are did you own one BEFORE 2000?

If you want to lower one you will need an '86.5 or newer to do that easily...they have adjustable spring perches.

928 International, 928 Specialists, 928sRus and The Nine Source can get just about any part you are looking for. Some new and some used, some OEM, some factory original. Your local Porsche dealer will be more than happy to screw you over on the pricing of any of the parts they carry for the car too.

928's are great cars...buy the best S4 you can afford and enjoy the ride. Lower it at your own peril as they sit rather low already. They are one of the few cars that I think sit at just about the perfect height right out of the factory. Put 18" wheels on a 928 and it could hardly look better!

I'll put my 2cents in here, buy an 80-85 euro-S in auto or 5spd, I have a 5spd and will soon have an auto delivered. The 5spd is fast & lightweight, and the insurance is less on them, and i'm talking about normal policies that have no mileage limits or limits on usage of what you use the car for. at 300HP they are fast & simpler, especially the earliest versions. An S4 5spd starts at the $10k and up price range, the S4 auto can be had for $6k and up but will need work. Be prepared to spend $2K-5K to put them right & thats assuming good interior & body/paintwork, these figures are based on having a mechanic do the work for you. As an example I bought a nice 86.5S3 for $6200 & spent another $4K for maintenance & odds & ends, total $10k in the car.(automatic US-4cam engine 5 litre.). The 85-86.5 US 5spd 4cam versions are also nice cars & cheaper to buy than the equivalent 87-91 S4 5spds. Good luck in your search! Bill
