Exhaust tips and shield painting

That looks great.

-I have the Borla exhaust that 928 International sold for years, and I hate it!

I like the sound, which is just about right. At idle, this tells the proles what is and what ISN'T, and ensures them that this slick little car in front of them that they are pretty sure is a 9-something or other is an ALLIGATOR.

"Did you do a chevy conversion on that?" I've had that conversation over open windows about a dozen times.

Teeth pointing south as the car rumbles...

"Nope, it is the original engine. Porsh-eh started producing V8 powered cars in 1978. I just put a proper exhaust on this one"

Alligators are nothing to be scared of, but you DO have to give them respect. I've seen 300 pound gators along the canals I take my boat down just a few hundred meters from my house. They are just like 928's. You DON'T provoke these animals, just like I won't provoke my 3300 pound 928 into any sideways antics if you really want to stay alive!

What I wish is that there was a proper exhaust tip for the Borla system that 928 International sold for a while.

Probably only something that I would notice. But, now I'm going to start looking at others to see what shape theirs are in. :D

Rick - any noticable effects on the paint from the heat after driving?
