What luck living 6 miles from 928Int. Not sure you realize the how much the guys here relay on them for parts etc.....Even more you will be first in line for the their annual post THXGiving 1/2 price sale (which I found out about one day after the sale ended!)
I you have not done so already; you should play the lottery!

before you plug in the rebuilt computers do any/all other associated electrical work, check all relays/fuses are correct value and correct position, ensure the battery is fully charged and connect battery terminals.
turn on ignition........everything ok?
pull the fuel pump fuse and crank the engine.......all ok?
complete the compresion test on all 8 cylinders......all ok?
pull the negative batt cable, install both computers, reinstall FP fuse, reconnect batt and fire away.......good luck

Yes, absolutely follow Malcolm's suggestions in the order he posted. If you have *any* questions or concerns about any of those steps or anything else as you try to wake this car from its slumber, please ask. The compression check is essential. Also, if there is a fuel issue, don't load the intake up with starting fluid. A mist or two is alright, but running the car off of starting fluid may damage the engine.

Brad, yes I did buy the modules with the help of 928intl. I was thinking I should start a car profile thread in the correct forum to continue throwing out status and questions of my work in progress.
