Good thing is the vast majority of the information that rennlist has in its database can be replicated over here. But it would take RL going down for us to re-generate it.

I'm glad to see more looking over here and I would hope that it would continue even after the elections.

Sean, totally agree with your points as well! How many folks have even gone to the top of the home page to revisit 928s4vr of late? I love that we have that here! We didn't save it all, but we saved the majority of it I think! Phil Tong put his heart and soul in to that and I love that we still have it! Great resource that is underutilized by newbies (and seasoned alike I think!)

I have been making a habit of cross-posting things that I think will be beneficial to 928 owners so that that information stays around.

This not about RL versus the OC website. It's about keeping the information in the hands of the people that it most can help in the present and in the future.

I would love to see that. We were able to take over the 928s4vr site many years ago and it is STILL a great resource. Perhaps we don't refer to it enough or maybe it is hidden on the home page to much, but it is great to have that. It would also be great to have 928 Registry right here on the 928OC home page and to have it set up so that it can be easily updated... Lots of folks want to put their cars in the registry!
