We should have more elections "ducks"

The election and the drama that is unfolding on RL I believe is driving this. I have to admit that I frequent RL mostly and only check in here.That will change going forward, at least for me, and I think that right now potential new members are looking in to see why they should join. So everybody be on your best behavior!

I don't think we have yet seen bad behavior here.
There have been a few additional signups to the forum recently.

Hopefully it stays that way. At least over here I know I'm not going to read some drama that would make high-school girls take notice.

What I think people fail to realize over there is that RL is operated by Internet Brands. John D. doesn't run it anymore. If IB thinks that RL is not making enough money for IB, they can just shut down. All that knowledge and tips, and know-how would be gone.

The OC website is operated for 928 owners.

I have been making a habit of cross-posting things that I think will be beneficial to 928 owners so that that information stays around.

This not about RL versus the OC website. It's about keeping the information in the hands of the people that it most can help in the present and in the future.

I am glad someone understands that. I have said that for years, and while I have sentimental attachment to the 928 OC and what we have accomplished, most important to understand, as you have stated, is that the contents belong to the *928 Owner Club members*. That is also true of the 928s4vr.com website that we took on many years ago.
