Check and relieve the flex plate of any pressure if you are to buy it. Crankshaft migration, though not as commonly reported on early 32 valve cars, is possible. I know of a few 85-86 us models that have been sacrificed at the expense of thrust bearing failure.

I agree with Brad and the new buyers guide from Porsche shows about the same numbers. Great car bur look at all the SMALL STUFF, wiper motor delay and the dimmer for the dash lights, door locks, back deck release, seals around the glass. That kind of stuff will eat your lunch in pennies fast.

Looks like every part of it need some amount of work, 4k tops.
Another 4 to 5k on repairs and upgrades and then it could be worth 8k (it is an auto).
I see engine refresh needed (looks neglected), paint needs work and so does the inside (door panels, cracked dash, etc.).
