I have been looking for someone for over year now. He is actually a VW restoration specialist looking to start his own business. He has his work in magazines and I saw a lot of his other pics in a portfolio. I am REALLY excited. Will let you know how it turns out. He is doing everything, like pulling the dash and repairing the splits etc.

How much is that going to cost, I would like to get mine totally redone.

I have not gone any further on my car yet, but I have decided to keep my 89 heads as I believe they are better. I will be shipping them to Greg Brown to be rebuilt because I am sure they will come back perfect thank you all for your comments which helped and brought me to this decission.

I had Robert Bud sew most of my interior, he did an incredible job, you'll be very happy!

Malcolm, that is good news! I didn't hear a follow up! What ended up being the problem with the car???
