Just bought my first 928 !!!!

The first time I opened the hood I was a little over whelmed the cars I use to work on had like one vacuum line to the distributer. Last weekend I took the air cleaner apart and started looking at vac lines and am trying to get use to everything. My hawks rear pads came today so I know what I will be doing sat.

Brad is there any way to get a better idea if the belt has Ben changed or should I assume it's old and just dig in

Can you phone the person you bought it from?
If the Prev owner (PO) is not available then you need to inspect the belt.
Some look through holes but really the covers need to come off.

A new belt should last 50-80,000 but they are not made to be run hard when they are 10 + years old.
I replaced my belt after 1 year because it got oil on it due to I did not repair the leaks under the intake.

when you get to that point, if the po can't be reached, remove the covers and take pictures for us to look at.
