Do you have the engine belly pan that will fit an 1989 ? Is the 1982 pan identical? If you do have one, how much are you asking? Thanks

There is a first time for everything. I have never heard the oil pan or sump of an engine called the belly pan.
First of all there was improvements made to the design of the oil pan from 1981 onwards. These improvements were in the interior of the pan for better pump pickup to avoid oil starvation to the engine during high RPM.(racing)
According to the Tech bulletin #4 that I have as of M. Y. 1982 engine No. 81C1105 and 81C6611 the oil filter screen was deleted and a screened oil intake pipe was installed.. What all this means is that my belly pan for the 1982 928S is not the pan for your 1989 engine.

As a newbie, It was my error in using the term belly pan. What I am looking for is the vented metal plate that covers the area under the engine. I believe it comes in two pieces and if I can find a picture, I will try and include it.
