BUT I might have found the problem MAYBE, COULD BE, NOT SURE that should cover it.
I found the coil I had put on the car was a spare race coil from an old V8 I had, ACELL brand. (old was shorted for sure)
I am wondering if the fact the the shakes goes away at HIGH RPM and the range is 1200 to 1500 could it be the coil???
Bumping this to see if you found any problems or fix.

Thanks Brad still playing with it.928mac;8148 wrote: Bumping this to see if you found any problems or fix.
It is NOT:
1. Coil
2. Dist Cap
3. Wires
4. Plugs
5. Rotor
Not ruled out 100%
1. Injection. BUT Only from 1500 to 1800 rpm?
2. Torque tube, This is my guess now since car was smacked in the RR enough to bend some heavy parts.
The Blue one was SMOOTH as silk at all speeds but this one is ???
PS: Blue is paid for, still in shop and still have the title. getting CLOSER

Chasing vac leaks is different than using starting fluid to start a car in order to diagnose a fuel problem. I haven't ever seen any adverse effects either short or long term from using starting fluid to find vac leaks.
It is mess, but I use WD-40 to find vacuum leaks it kills the engine when you find it and does not go boom!

I heard carb cleaner will work, less volatile than starting fluid and less messy than wd40.

Carb cleaner works and it will get you high at the same time, I guess it is a win, win.
