TC drain plug was created by the flying scotsman
For those who have BTDT getting the drain plug for the torque convertor aligned in the 'grate' is tough especially when doing it on the garage floor turning the crank by socket solo.

Anyone know if the TC is keyed so the crank lines up with a refernce?

I made my own the hard way :eek:

I would guess yes, but that is the kind of question that I would ask you. We need to ask Greg or Sean.

thx Brad.....I posted also on Rlist

I have the plug out but it took 20 mins of back and forward, under the car, turn the crank, up and under the rear of the car check if its aligned the repeat and repeat and repeat until I got close but it was to far around and Im not reversing the engine so marked the crank a/c pulley and spun the engine again.

This engine or TT/gbox has untouched so this is how it was from factory and its miles away from 0 TDC.....estimate 90 degrees.
