Tire Size Option question

With a 16v we are lucky I guess in that we can rotate our tires and get all the same size. But the bigger back ones look really cool, do you 32v guys find there are issues not being able to rotate? Or once they are on and properly aligned, the car usually does a good job of even wear?

Just wondering as my son-in-law has an 83 911 with a Carrera body kit and larger rears and he asked about it.

No I don't think its an issue like on a normal vehicle where the tires are rotated back to front.

Most of us stager the sizes from front to back. I did not know some of you ran the same size tires on all 4. I have only had this one 928

The 928 actually handles WAY BETTER when it has even sizes front and rear! If you go to big on the back (IMHO) the cars understeer WAY TOO MUCH! If you push even the same sized rear tire to far out they will also start to understeer.

Keeping them even like on the OB cars makes for the best handling set up on ANY 928 and if you make them wider front and rear (like if you could go to 255's or so on both ends) man these cars would have tenacious grip and be SUPER WELL balanced!

This is EXACTLY how my race car is set up but with 315 sized slicks! NICE!!!
