1998 s4, when hitting a small bump, central warning light comes on, also brake pad light in dash comes on. when hitting warning light switch on dash it goes off. all brake sensors are gone how do i fix problem? i check brakes every year and they are great. i read somewhere how to disconnect sensors if this is the problem anybody know how to accomplish this? i like to do things right so would it be better to replace sensors? i have had so much accitance with this web site that makes things work. thanks so much for your help, john

Hi John, to disable the sensors at each wheel all you need to do is to tie the two sensor wires together. I have seen this done on an '80.
The sensors are not very expensive, I would just replace them with new and check all the connections for good contact, WD-40 is your friend when it come to electrical connections.
Good luck,
Dave
