I know it's been awhile but I wanted to be sure that I added this photo of the scene after we had just raised the basement doors. I took this shot from my phone. By the way, it appears the car was totally unharmed at least cosmetically and mechanically. Now, electrically we may find a different outcome but we haven't gotten that far yet. I've spared all of the working electrical parts from the '85 just in case.

My heart goes out to you. I know how i would feel if my car suferred the same fate. All I can ofer is moral support for now but let us know if we can help i some way.
