What is the cost for a brand new drivers side H5 lens... the big chunk of glass (however it is provided normally?)
My '95 hit that deer and is all fixed but the only light they didn't replace was the drivers side H5 (it didn't break) and while it does not look bad, it certainly looks different from the others. That said, I bet few 928 enthusiast would even notice the difference, but I do!

BTW - contrary to what has been said before on this thread - if you have 7" DOT sealed beams the best lighting upgrade is 8" H4, and the next best upgrade is 7" H4 and a distant 3rd is 8" H5. A suitable single word to describe the H5 DOT pattern is - Crap!
Some folks like the look of the 8" H5 - but its basically the same look as an 8" H4. An 8" H4 is usually slightly cheaper than an H5 new (presumably a volume thing) - so you'd be crazy to buy new H5s.
7" H4 is still the bargain choice since they are very significantly less expensive than any 8" option...(~ 1/4 the price) - the only thing not to like is the look (it looks similar to a 7" DOT sealed beam) with the trim ring.
Please only do bulb power upgrades or HID in H4 type lenses - we will all thank you for not blinding us.
H4 lenses from anyone but Bosch, Hella or Cibie are likely to be garbage. Garbage also includes any plastic H4 eBay lenses and anything that mentions having a diamond pattern. Diamonds are for jewelry not headlights.
