I had essentially all the F and R items that contain ANY rubber in the suspension of my car ('95) replaced a couple weeks ago. There is a very impressive improvement in the handling (only driven 150 miles).
The ride quality is better (car not yet fully settled at the front), but the effect of new/soft rubber in the Weissach bushing is amazing. The car now actually acts as if it has 4 wheel steering. The 'rear end coming around' is noticeable even on 90 degree corner turns with a bit of throttle, but it is amazing on curves like entry/exit ramp for interstate type highways.
Since every 928 is now 27 - 43 years old, essentially all the OE bushings and these cars have hardened rubber. If you have not replaced those two bushings, you too will be amazed at the transformation of the car when you DO change them. Currently NLA from Porsche, but rebuilt ones (which I used) are available from 928 International and 928sRus. Not cheap at $250 each, but well worth it in my opinion.
