Putting staggered S4 rims on an 86 S? was created by LAnNYCGuy
Hello,
So, the 85/86 cars came w/ 16X7s fronts and back (with a spacer in the rear, yes?) w/ 225/50s all the way around, correct?
Can one update to the S4 (same style) staggered 16X7 front and 16X8 rear w the wider 245/45s on the back? Assume NO spacer needed now?
Any fit issues?
Fit aside, any handling issues?
Better? Worse? Wash?
Thanks.

You describe the exact setup on my '84. No extra work necessary. PERFECT fit.

Thank you! Wheel spacer used/needed in the back? Or when you go 1" wider, not needed?

The 8" wide wheels in the rear is what they all should have come with originally. They look so much better. Leave the original spacers alone.
