Hello everyone,
I ran across this advertisement from "Black Sea" while looking at ways to prevent Thrust Bearing Failure (TBF), which is more common on 5.0L motors since 4.7L's have a funky circlip retaining system. Anyway, has anyone bought and used this "Super Clam?" Or has anyone heard anything good or bad? If it works, it seems like cheap insurance to me ($325.00 v. $1,000's in destroyed engine).
