My sunroof frequently gets stuck. It sticks in the fully open or the fully closed position. I may open it to go for a drive but then it will not close. I drove the car home took the cover off the motor turned it by hand just a little then hit the switch and it closed just fine. A few days later on a drive I closed the sunroof to get in a store when I came back out it would not open. I didn’t do anything and this morning I went down to the garage and tried it opened and closed with no problem. Last year I put a new switch in because I had to play with it sometimes to get the roof to operate. Any suggestions? Is there a relay or something somewhere that I should replace?
Thanks,
Glenn

To me, this would seem to suggest that there is a problem with the sunroof transmission. You need to remove it and inspect for stripped teeth or anything else that may be compromised in the way of its mechanical function.
There may be an issue with the connection at the fuse. It's #8 on your car and it should be a 16A. Check for corrosion at the fuse holder as well as the condition of the fuse itself. From your symptoms, I'm not expecting an intermittent issue with power supply or with the switch, but it should be ruled out in diagnostics.
