928 612 004 36 my?

Going through some old parts I have kicking around. I have an old wiring harness for the rear that runs down right side from the looks (has radio AMP plugs it seems), but I could be wrong. Part number is 928 612 004 36. I can look it up in PET 7, but it wont tell me what year it applies to, or the specific harness it is. Memory tells me it from an S4 but it looks like 928 612 004 XX (several harnesses with different ending numbers) are listed in pet for S4s, but none are listed ending in 36. Anyone have PET down better than me, or an earlier version where 928 612 004 36 is pictured?

I looked it up in PET7 under the "Parts Usage" search, and it says its for USA variant 87-91 S4's.

It shows in the diagram the search brings up which one it is - runs full length from the CE panel to the rear light clusters and everything else.

The only bits it doesn't connect to are the side markers and the number plate lights, which have their own short harnesses which connect off the one you have.

Thanks. Oh well, I sold the S4 4 years ago. Guess I don't need that part anymore. How'd you look that up? My version of PET 7 was Russian in origin. Should be the same, but not very friendly IMO.

Under the Menu button up top of the screen, choose Search > Parts Usage

Then enter the part number with no spaces, and it'll tell you all the cars that part was used on.. just double-click the Search Results items to drill down until it shows model/year info.

I assume you've changed the language to English?

If you haven't, under the menu button, 5th item down is "Select Language", and then second choice on the next menu is English.

I did manage to change the language.
