Ditto - there are various ways of plugging pinching, just depends on your situation and accessibility. Did mine while the engine as out.

Hi you do know what you pictured is not the "Co Test Pipe", right ?
They run directly into the Exhaust cast iron headers.

That hard metal pipe covered in foil is one of the two "Exhaust Temp Sensors" (one per side) that screw into the Head.

These are for the CAT protection system to detect Cylinder Temp difference, mostly set off by a failed Ignition bank, the system then cuts of the injectors to that bank so it doesn't dump fuel into dead cylinders.

Just don't want to see anyone messing w/ those as they run about 500 bucks EACH! ;)

Brad.........Dave's comments are correct.....your car is just a little different given its ex Japan.

The CO test ports are pipe thread......I installed a couple of short bolts and get rid of the pipes completely :)

I seem to have seen a photo where someone had put a cap on the manifold fitting, and I was wondering if anyone knew where you could source it? I fit a short bolt into the fitting and then held it in with the ferrule....but a cap would be so much nicer....
