Coolant fans are not coming on was created by 928mac
I am trying to find out why my coolant fans will not come on.
Fans run with direct power applied.
I jump the intake sensor and the water cross over sensor, had the engine running with the AC on while depressing the hood switch but still nothing.:confused:
I have bat voltage at the top intake sensor and between pins 2 n 3 at the large round fan controller plug (frt of rad pass side) but I do not have bat voltage between pin 3 n 4 which I think I am suppose to
I havent gone through all the test yet but I thought I would ask here before I go any further.
Any ideas
Thanks
Brad

Check at Terminal 1 (red wire) and Terminal 4 (red/white wire) for battery power. If no power, check Fuses 28 and 29, and the medium-sized red wires on the positive battery terminal.

Thanks Wally, you mean to check at the round output plug in front of the rad, Right.
If that is the plug you are referring to, terminal 4 does not have power
