Is it permissible to mix BRANDS of brake fluid as long as DOT rating is the same, and not silicon?

Buy new bottles of brake fluid of the same brand and bleed all calipers and clutch with a power bleeder then you'll know for sure the system is good for at least 2 years :)

When bleeding, start with the caliper farthest away from the master cylinder and work your way to the closest caliper. I agree on the Blue/Gold idea and that brand.
