why does it have 944 injectors? what size are they?
I would suggest you have someone very knowledgable go over the entire fuel system including fuel pressure, dampers, regulators, MAF and injectors
The 928 has 2 computers, the LH handles the fuel injection that can be programmed using a Sharktuner and the install of a special eprom but you have to get all the maintenance items looked at beforehand.

Yes I would make sure you get some Sharktuning done. What do the plugs look like?

Yes, sometimes in more ways than one:D. Seriously though, if they are done right and kept modest they are great for the 928. Obviously the more boost you go the less built in factory safety margin you have. Everything is a balancing act.
