Well got some extra energy today and decided to pull ut the rear seats ...then later the rear interior panels. From the looks of things this was virgin territory with all the spaire change found and trash...less this wire under the rear center console with duct tape on it. Any idea what this leads to...?

Thinking of doing a rear seat delete..any good threads for ideas?

thanks, Randy

It depends on what you want. It seems that most people add some kind of box structure to hold various extensions to the sound system (speakers, amp(s), etc.) and/or additional storage.

Alternatively, you could simply aim to remove the seats and carpet over the recesses, if you are aiming for a 'light weight' look seen more often in 911s - see for example this . You could carpet the curved floor where the seat base fits or add something to raise the level a bit and make it flat, without going to usable sized box. Personally I'd go that route.

The wire is probably an old antenna cable. The white one? I found one as well on mine, as the PO has already deleted my antenna. So at first I thought I did not have one!.

Although Sterling deleted his posts within this thread, there are some good examples, pictures and links to other threads here:

Also Tony C in Port Arthur (is that right???? Seems wrong...maybe it's Rockport...hmmm) has a car known as Just Beachy and he did a full rear seat delete with a GREAT storage locker and such in its place. Looks really good. Kind of along the lines of what Sterling did, but I am not sure if he ever posted a thread about it.

I agree James, I think its not only wrong but childish.
When/if i leave this or the other site, I wont delete my thread or post and would be proud if the admin would leave them in place.
IMO some take it to far, but each to their own and its their right I guess, just not my style
