We may be able to source some reasonably-priced 19-pin plugs for the diagnostic connector.

Anybody need any?

Can you source both ends Wally?

Im interested in the 'Porsche' end to make adapter cables for the older cars with the rectangular diag port.

Pardon my ignorance. What is a 19-pin plug for the diagnostic connector?

Porsche added diag software to the 88 MY and up. The 87/88 cars have a rectangular port near the LH and EZK computers although the 87 eproms do not have the diag software.

The 89 thru 95 cars were changed to have a 19 pin diag port near the LH drive passenger seat.

The eprom diag software is accessed through these ports with a special tool that became known as the 'hammer'. The Porsche hammer was superceeded by the JDS Spanner which in turn was upgraded to Theos diag system which is still availbale.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationAfter some discussion, David decided that it would be better to just let everyone who wants a connector buy their own from the supplier at minimum cost. The total cost is $8.95, including shipping.
