How do you test Injectors
Was going to LISTEN to the injection to see if they are firing. They are REBUILDS.
I have the stethoscope to listen. I thought of the brain box but that is NEW.
If it was a a stick I could run it then turn off a coast to get a plug read but can you do that with the automatic?
Thanks all

screw it onto the rail service tip, remove fuel relay and run it at a idle till it quits. let sit for 20 min, Install relay and drive it and it should be good.
If not let me know.

Either way it would be the injectors. Go to ford and get some injector cleaner. (large can with service hose)

Great will try that this weekend. Running a K&N filter heard it could CAUSE a lean condition but never heard from a reliable source just an oh by the way.
Can I just UNPLUG the fuel pump? every time I TOUCH a relay it goes bad.

Yes you can unplug the fuel pump fuse.
Also to see if it is running lean, you can put a 2 inch strip of masking tape over the filter to see if it gets better. If it dose then the injectors are dirty.

BTW these are all just back yard test and not the correct method but for those without the skills and tools they are simple test.

Thanks, I used the old soak trick then a 9 volt to trigger in my 951 years ago. Just did not want to take the rails off and such.
