What are the best non-hid replacement halogen headlight bulbs for our vehicles?

It is time for me to replace my headlight bulbs and I am looking for any suggestions. What are you using?

Some say the Sylvania SilverStar Headlights are the best and are a very good price.
I know they are about half the price when compaired to what I bought


I bought new stronger head lamps and are they ever nice.





Here is the difference with just the drivers bulb changed to the new bulb.



They are a much much whiter bulb.

I will get Silverstars next myself. I have not heard much said against them, especially for the price. I think our lights are generally good as far as dispersion pattern etc. I like them stock even. I don't do a lot of night driving and if you don't why overpay, unless you are looking for HID kits etc.

I had silverstarsin my daily driver( a trailblazer). The light they produced was great but they burn out after about a year.They are always on as driving lights. After the 3rd set I went back to halogen bulbs. They should be fine for limited night driving for a 928.
