Good Morning Aug 18th
Not as many showed up as normal due to a previous rain and some clouds that were still hovering, but the streets were dry and not a drop till after I got home.
The car performed beyond what I thought it would do.
As customary when leaving, most perform a burn out.
I was a little unsure and was rolling onto the street when I punched it at 10_15mph and to my surprise it laid about a 40ft strip with smoke starting to roll off the tires. I was surprised. It looks like I am getting it in tune.
Well only 1 more day after today and then it’s the week end, YE! HA!
Oh I discovered that if you use Canadian Tire engine degreaser on un clear coated paint, the paint runs and trying to wash it off sprays the paint on the fenders and everywhere. It was a mess.
It was the last thing I was going to do (after washing the car) before I went to the show and brag.
I had to scrub the splattered paint off the fenders and wash the car again.
Well ya’ll have a great 928 day eh!

It seems to wipe off the other colors with varsol.
I can fix it and I have a can of engine clear.
its just that something like this always happens when you are in a hurry
