26 July - good morning

Wanted to share my latest 'upgrade'.

I had replaced the OEM wheels with 17" Turbo Twists and after a few years I sold them to Brad.....that was Christmas 2010. I started this driving season back on the original wheels and yes the tyres that were fitted all those years ago. Surprisingly the old rubber, Michelin Pilot Sports, worked very well and the old rim/tyre combo worked well but they do make the car look its age.

This past Sunday I picked up a set of 18" Carrera III wheels fitted with Conti tyres 235 front, 265 rear. They were fitted Sunday night and as I had some business to take care off in Calgary yesterday they got a +500km maiden trip......dont they look good?

I like open design wheels so when I clean them, as infrequently as that might be, it is easier.

Thx Brad.....IMHO they take the car into current decade from a looks perspective. My car typically attracts looks etc but cruising and parking in downtown Calgary yesterday was exceptional
