Looking to replace my slotted wheels on my 87 S4. Saw these Porsche Boxter ones on ebay. Anyone had any exprience with these......are they compatable? If so any thoughts regarding the price?

The add said you need to return an identical but unplated set of wheels to get your deposit back (1200$) plus shipping. Starting to get pricey IMO. Iwould check the fine print. I just bought a set of 18" turbo twists with tires(1500 miles on rims and rubber) for 1100$.

Thanks guy....think I will pass on these and do some additional homework and also read THE FINE PRINT! Not in any hurry. I have MANY mechanical issues to resolve taking priority over the lipstick......just a passing thought

The fronts are WAY TO NARROW! The 928 only came with 6" wide wheels ONCE... they were the 15" phone dials for the early '78/'79 auto cars (and a few cheap a$$ Jewish guys who actually bought '80 5spd cars and had those stupid wheels put on to save a few dollars...literally!) You want as wide as you can get on a 928, NOT narrow!
I think that rear offset would work fine personally...might need a spacer but to get it close to the lip of the fender, but I think they would work, the fronts would also work, but as noted are just to damn narrow for our big heavy beasts!
Look at the 18" Carrera III wheels! They look great and fit even better than they look! The Carrera Light Weights are also a possibility as are the 18" Cayman wheels (the ones that have a sort of Fuchs look to them)...
