Well the streets are getting dry

OMG i got my car apart and spring decided to come early Well I need gaskets for the pan and exhaust
but i think ILL make them out of caterpillar gasket paper and 515 loctite flange sealer (get that from work).
I need to get some engine bearings ordered (any thoughts where online)
its a 5L right



This is where I am thinking of lifting the engine from
Any thoughts on this

Not sure about lifting by that, if it is aluminum, definitely not, in my opinion.

For the oil pan gasket, Roger at 928srus.com, sells a pan gasket kit that has a much better gasket than the stock cork one.

He definitely could use a better website, because he stocks and sells a lot more than it looks like he does. I just picked up one of his silicone oil pan gaskets recently and it looks like it's good stuff. Just got to find some time to work on my car again, instead of my wife's!
