I always resize to 800 wide. That seems to be a decent size for online. Still we run out of space pretty fast it seems. Totally understand that space on the server is not unlimited...

I use Photo Bucket. Its Free. I get better picture size when displaying the links here then If I upload a picture.
ALSO, then I only have to upload a picture once and can just post a link with at the end

so this
i103.photobucket.com/albums/m158/bwmac/B...0Porsche/Photo68.jpg

plus this

[img] [/img]

equal this

[IMG]http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m158/bwmac/Brads%20Porsche/Photo68.jpg[/IMG]

I would suggest you resize the photos first, anything bigger than 800px wide by 600px high is likely to be excessive for most users.

Unfortunately the space does not to be limited as the disk available is not unlimited.

I wasn't suggesting I do that Stan - in fact since I work in software I know how to crop or use alternate hosts. It is more typical of modern software (which this platform is not) to allow any user to upload any size of picture, and then re-size and reformat as required on the server side for optimal presentation and storage.

I use Photobucket as well. It's easy to use and it's free. You can't beat that.
