1978

Recently acquired a 1978, not perfect but in seemingly really good shape overall, Old serial#, not sure where to start finding out history on it. Can anyone help? US car.

The early model years have very abbreviated VIN's!

It’s my understanding that you can send off to Porsche for build information. I will be doing that tomorrow for my 1980 so I’ll post my results.
