I am so sorry Wally, I was just checking now and was sure that I posted a comment.
I did quote you and put in that There were 2 options for the OPoster and that I would be using the picture method that you posted.
Again, sorry, the wife may have been nagging me to do something and I must have Ucked up

I wondered why your post was not there yesterday when I posted about Keys for Classics...thought I was losing it for a second.

A couple months ago I decided an extra ignition key was necessary. I purchased the OEM plastic lighted crested part for 20.00 on line. I wondered down to the local Porsche Parts department and asked could you please get a key cut for my 928 S4. They asked for the original key and the registration information. 15 minutes later they returned my key asked me for 120.00 and said we will call you in 2 to 3 days. 2 days later I had a bright shinny new key. Maybe that was a bit pricey I don't know.

I was actually expecting a potential issue with this however it ended up being as simple as getting a key cut anywhere else, I just had to wait a couple day's. I felt that was a fair price considering what the result would be had I lost the original while traveling or for any reason.

Considering that there are good alternatives available, I would consider $140 more than a bit pricey...
