Yes, back on topic.

Pulled up to the same corner store today and a nice looking Nissan 350 was there filling up. Being the concieted Porsche owner that I am, I didn't even look at it. (gave him a thumbs up) and as he drove off, he kept staring at the car.......... I'll share the stories as they come.

It's odd, but in the 7 months that I have had mine - I have only had one person that knew what it was that said anything. Two have said "nice car" and the rest just look at me...I guess trying to figure out what it is!

I've had mine for almost a year now. Only in the last couple months have I noticed it getting some attention. At a stop light one night the driver beside me asks me what year and tells me how sweet the car is. Also, asked if it's fast. I tell him it's OK. He was really surprised to hear it has a 5.0 V8. But, what I thought was really cool for some reason, was when I was parked at my daughter's school, some kid (maybe age 13 or 14) came over with his cell phone and took a picture of it.

I've been getting a lot of waves from other Porsche drivers too lately. Even the Pepper drivers!

So, Friday night and Saturday afternoon I was driving my '84 Ruby Red 928S and it was really shocking how many comments that car gets! Seriously, I think it generates more comments than either of the GTS's do!

One was a guy and GF slowly rolled up beside me at a stop light. It was night time and the headlights were up. The guy rolls his window down and says, "those lights are cool." I said, "Watch this" and I turned them off. They freaked out! They LOVED IT! SO FUNNY!

Then mid day on Saturday I stopped by a Sonic for a drink and the car hop came out and first words out of her mouth were, "your car is SO PRETTY." Then she said, "I LOVE the way it sounds." So, of course I had to blip the throttle for her a bit.

Man I LOVE these cars!
