Nope - no problem there as well, unless you have foot tall drink, you will not know it is there. You might kick it only if you bring your foot back all the way to the seat when you get out....otherwise I never know it is there. I have a regular Starbucks flip top type thermos in it,,,,no issues.
Here are some Pics. You can move it a little further up if you like. But you won't be putting your foot that far back while you are driving anyway.
